Our Integrative Approach to Pediatrics

Our integrative and functional approach includes considering a child's nutritional status, the health of the microbiome, immune function, genetic influences, environmental exposures, and emotional and psychological health. This approach relies on a detailed understanding of each child's unique biochemical, genetic, environmental, and social-emotional makeup. We rely on treatments that are evidence-based, which means they have been studied and deemed both safe and effective.

Our treatments include using a variety of diagnostic and laboratory testing to identify the underlying causes of illness as well as utilizing nutritional supplements and pharmaceutical treatments when necessary. Prairie Health & Wellness also offers Chiropractic Services and MNRI Services. Both of these specialties have been beneficial for our pediatric patients.

Pediatric Complex Care

Our families benefit from providers with specialized pediatric training. Two members of our Provider Team previously completed coursework through the Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs (MAPS), covering areas like Environmental Medicine, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Nutrition, and Immunology. That foundation shapes how we support children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, allergies, asthma, ADHD, IBS, and PANS/PANDAS.
